Coffee and Dessert - Healthy Cookies

Trying to eat healthier is no easy task when you love sweets. While perusing social media I found this recipe from Gail Wiebers for healthy cookies and figured I would try them. Using bananas, oats, nuts and chocolate chunks with a few other ingredients, you can have delicious cookies ready in a little over 30 minutes. All without any added sugar. Everyone here loved them!

Healthy Cookies

3 mashed ripe bananas
1/3 cup applesauce
2 cups oats
1/4 cup almond milk
1/4 cup raisins or nuts
1 cup good chocolate chunks
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients (stirring in the nuts and chocolate at the end).
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
