Let's Have Brunch - Coffee Cinnamon Buns

I can always count on Food Network Magazine to come through with a great recipe. If you are looking for an easy sweet treat to have with your morning coffee, look no further than this. Total time from start to finish is about 40 minutes. The addition of ground coffee is a great flavor combination with the cinnamon and sugar. Bon Appetit!

Coffee Cinnamon Buns

2 tablespoons melted butter, plus more for the pan
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground coffee
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a 12-cup muffin tin.

2. Mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, coffee, orange zest and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush the puff pastry with the melted butter and sprinkle with the sugar mixture.

3. Roll up the puff pastry into a log from a long side and slice crosswise into 12 pieces. Arrange cut-side up in the prepared pan. Bake until golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from pan immediately.
